Upasthambha (Pillarets)
At the bottom of the main pagoda, there is a Ūpasthambha (pillarlets). In the ancient times, on the top of the pagoda, a pillar was made. And also, there had been ‘chatragala’ on the top of the pagoda. The upasthambha found here is nearly nine feet long. It is believed that pillar had been fallen when the pagoda was destroyed.
